Heya, thanks for this video! It really opened my eyes... It's crazy how the bootleg figure looked almost identical to the original figure, even from the box! They even use the original brand logo... OMG. 😱It's gonna be hard/confusing trying to order from amazon, ebay etc. 😅I guess the best way to purchase genuine figures is from actual retailers 😬

Jesus you were kinda honest with that hentai thing huh 😂 But besides that, i started my anime collection too, started off with Banpresto one of the best beginner figures you can buy, i bought 4 glitter and glamour figurines from them and honestly, even tho these figures are considered "prize" figures, the quality is amazing they weren't cheap tho, all of them above 50 dollars but totally worth it..... Also i may have made a rookie mistake already and i bought a bootleg of C.C Gease green bunny for 75 dollars, shot up to 85 dollars bought from eBay, the authentic version is above 200 dollars, but i wanted this so bad i didnt think it thoroughly, so i pulled the trigger.... I already noticed some red flags, should have payed more attention, the product pics were of the legitimate version and not the real one (red flag 1), i contacted the seller after i have bought it no response at all (red flag 2), the item got shipped and will be here in a week or two but after a few days, the seller disappeared no trace left cant contact nothing (red flag 3).... Right now i am in "crapping my pants" mode because i feel like im gonna get scammed either im gonna get something completely different or i do get the product and the quality is trash thus losing 85 dollars..... Last time i buy a knockoff, hopefully it will look good when it arrives but at this point, i am just gonna have to take my losses and move on.... If i want something good i wanna be 💯 percent certain that i receive the real thing, gonna buy from legit sources from now on.....

As of the moment, I don't have any Miku Hatsune figure but surely gonna have one soon 😅

Not gonna lie, fake Levi got the face better lmao Levi doesn't have green eyes, he has blue-grey eyes. In manga he has chubbier cheeks so it's not an issue either. Original's clothes are better but to be honest, the difference isn't that bad if you just want them for fun and not a serious collector or anything.

I recently bought my first figure..I chose Taito room wear Miku. I adore her and she wasn't expensive!! I considered buying a bootleg but the faces are ugly!! Im glad I bought a real one. Its a false economy buying something cheaper that doesn't make me happy to look at. I want an Easter Miku next.. I do hope to have a scale bunny figure one day.

im just now assembling the figure and I really cant put the hair on, super disappointing so I'm gonna have to leave her in the box.

i bought one but it was like cheap and it still looks like the real nendo but it has some features that dont match like for example on the box there wasnt alot of labels on the back and on nezuko on the sitting dress she had she had a peg on the top but that bottom had only a hole it also did not come with instructions

Good solid tips, I would only add this one thing: some of it is trial & error. Some things you only find out through getting them and discovering certain things yourself. In some cases the company is brand new, in some cases this one figure has issues while ther previous ones had 0 issues. I do agree, the single most important aspect to anime figures is information: study the subject, compare, research, do the homework to get the best quality and the best prices.

i like how u keep noticing stuff while im staring like an idiot trying to notice the differences as someone who doesn't have a nendoroid yet, i think ill get an original, or will try to buy an original holidays are close so ill get some money, why not having fun with original stuff?
